Formwork
Traditional well-sawn plank formwork to below-ground concrete
Traditional formwork to footings, ground beams, plinths and low underground concrete faces using well-sawn straight 1x12 plank with four reuse cycles, 2x3 framing, 2x2 bracing, nails/release agent and carpentry labour.
Methodology
Default facing-board rule: well-sawn 1x12 plank is charged over 4 reuses. Framing and bracing remain separate editable resources. Use this below ground; use a plywood system above ground where the project requires smoother concrete.
Source basis
2-bedroom/KMSTEEL timber take-offs + Central Park timber/nail rates. Sep 2026 Abuja audit checked plywood, timber, H20/Peri and labour market references; structural/shuttering quantities remain to be validated against a formwork layout. User-approved V2 rule: well-sawn normal plank = 4 reuse cycles.
