Formwork
Economical marine-plywood formwork to reinforced concrete staircase
Stair/landing formwork with plywood facing, timber stringers/joists/bracing, 2x6/Peri support allowance, nails, release agent and higher-detail carpentry labour.
Methodology
Stairs attract more cutting, setting-out and striking labour than flat soffits; the labour factor is therefore separately visible and editable.
Source basis
Residential staircase/formwork methodology normalized with current formwork inputs. Sep 2026 Abuja audit checked plywood, timber, H20/Peri and labour market references; structural/shuttering quantities remain to be validated against a formwork layout. User-approved V2 rule: economical/cheap marine board = 3 casting cycles.
